The IOSH Managing Safely is a level 2 course, suitable for team leaders, managers and supervisors. No prior knowledge of health and safety is required, but a good standard of English is recommended.
The IOSH Managing Safely certificate does not have an expiry date, however IOSH do recommend that you take a refresher course every three years to keep your knowledge up to date.
The answer is yes, you do still need a CSCS card if you work in the construction industry, even if you have completed IOSH Training.IOSH Working Safely courses and Managing Safely courses do produce certificates that have considerable, substantial benefits.
